Winzino Review

Winzino may well be guilty of another horrendously forced play on words, but we noticed early on that the brand is powered by Nektan, a company that we have had plenty of experience with in the past throughout the course of these reviews. We have to admit that we are still yet to encounter a Nektan brand that has truly blown us away with quality, but at the same time we have never played at one that has been overly disappointing either – they tend to be above average casinos that are worth the time but not something to seek out specifically. As always, we live in hope that the next one will be the one that really impresses us and while we doubt that this will be the case, we are always happy to find out for ourselves.

Winzino is licensed by the Gibraltar Regulatory Authority and also the UK Gambling Commission, and has been available to players since 2015. Officially, the casino looks to cater to players in the UK and Ireland, although anyone that is not prohibited from playing here under either of these licenses can technically do just that. With a mobile focus, this casino looks to be a little different to the norm and we are looking forward to finding out precisely what lies in store – so let’s do just that in the full review below!

The Experience and Gaming Software

It is clear to see from the moment that players load up Winzino that it has been created with mobile play in mind. This is nothing unusual and the Nektan name is one of the more mobile focused in our experience, although we have often noted that the online and mobile casinos are basically the same experiences, just with a slightly different style on the main page. In this particular case, that involves big blocks of images and it is also the case that the casino looks basically the same on mobile screens as it does through a conventional web browser. There’s a huge number of games on display at the casino and they have not held back when it comes to ensuring that there are plenty of online and mobile favourites all together in one place. This may well be a casino with a mobile focus, but you’ll still get a full experience when playing online and none of the games have been missed out. Here you will find games from Microgaming, NetEnt and a couple of other leading developers, although it is fair to say that the main focus here is heavily on the slots. Table games are few and far between to say the least – indeed, blackjack and roulette had better be your idea of a good time if you are planning on playing here as that is literally all that there is to offer here at this casino. The rest of the ‘casino’ section is taken up primarily by scratch cards and while we are not big fans of this style of game in general, we can at least appreciate that they work much better on mobile screens than they would on a conventional monitor with a mouse!

Account Management and Customer Support

Even though the casino clearly focuses on involving players from the UK and Ireland, it is still fair to say that there is something of an international audience out there and they are catered to through the availability of a number of different deposit and withdrawal methods and also several different currency options. All of the standard payment options are in effect here and they are also complemented by Boku, which has been designed specifically for players to make payments using their phone bill. You have relatively low deposit limits with these methods, but it can be particularly convenient. As with many mobile focused casino brands, there is not actually any live chat on offer at Winzino and players are instead required to make use of a free phone number in the UK if they require immediate assistance. There is email too which can usually serve as a handy backup, especially when the main support team is unavailable. The 9am until midnight opening hours at the casino are decent enough although we were put off somewhat by the fact that these hours only apply from Monday to Friday, with no support available at weekends. This is a pretty big oversight as far as we are concerned and we have had to mark the casino down as a result.

Wintingo Review in Summary

Sadly, Winzino simply doesn’t have enough about it to get us excited. Mobile casino gaming is offered by just about any casino worth playing at nowadays and something that focuses on mobile play is not overly special outside of the opportunity to fund your gaming account with your phone bill. The games are pretty limited even given the number of quality developers involved and the support definitely needs some work. There are so many superior online casinos out there right now that we simply cannot consider this one to be anything more than average at best.
